The shorter 11'6" 6/7 Spey rod is ideal for tight quarters and smaller water. However, because of the casting prowess of this rod it can also certainly get the job done on bigger water. The 12'7" 7/8 rod is a great all around rod for the Pacific Northwest with a smooth crisp action and tremendous line speed. You can't go wrong with either of these two rods.
