The Humpy is the ultimate attractor pattern. To look at this fly means conjuring a whole slew of possible imitations. Due to the large amount of hackle and deer hair that compose this fly, it floats incredibly well and makes a great indicator for a trailing nymph. If you drift a Humpy and don't get a rise out of it, there's a good chance there's no fish there.
