He and his wife Amy both guide the river and have assembled a small guide staff made up of the most knowledgeable guides in the industry. When you book a trip through Deschutes Angler Fly Shop, you can rest assured that you will be guided by a friendly, patient, mature adult with years of experience guiding on the Deschutes and other waters. You will float our large river in a driftboat, stopping along the way to fish the best pieces of water. Your guide will not fish nor will he/she sit in the boat while you fish - our guides spend the entire day working one-on-one with clients on casting and fishing skills. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome on our guide trips. Deschutes Angler Fly Shop operates guided trips on the Deschutes River through special permits issued by the Bureau of Land Management. We guide fly fishing only and all fish caught on guide trips will be released unharmed. More >>
