A dubbing tool allows the tyer to make a wide open dubbing loop with his/her thread. The tool hangs below your fly and holds your loop open until you have filled it with dubbing. Once you have dubbing suspended in the loop, you simply spin the tool and voila - a strand of spun dubbing that stays together and wraps onto your fly like a strand of yarn. This high quality tool is made in Italy.
