This tapered mandrel is a great addition to any tube fly adapter kit. This one mandrel is able to accomodate about any size tube you tie on. Simply slide the tube ump the mandrel as far as you can and start tying. No need to keep track of several different size mandrels or change mandrels when you tie on different size tubes. If you are an avid tube fly tyer this is a must have piece of equipment.
