This condensed head lenth allows you to load your rod quickly whether you are trying to hit the otherside of the river or the trout feeding a rod length away. A perfect line for the avid nymph fisherman who utilizes heavy weights to get the flies down quickly. Dryfly fisherman will also find the line advantageous when fishing short casts in tight quarters.
