What really sets this pontoon apart from so many other knock-off cheap imitations on the market are the quality components and materials that have gone into its construction. The air cell bladder is 14 mil. Urethane - unlike the vinyl used in cheaper boats, urethane will stretch and expand- adjusting to changes in altitude as you drive up to your favorite high mountain lake and forgiving to heat expansion when you pull your boat off the cold water and let it sit in the sun while you set up camp; the oars and brass oar locks on these boats will not fail when you need them to perform- oh, say, right in the middle of a boiling rapid.
