Strung Out Beach Bum
This is one in a series of strung out flies designed by Derek Fergus. The fly is actually tied on dacron backing material - so the entire body of the fly flexes and moves freely. Once this fly latches onto the lip of a steelhead or salmon it's not going to detach until you have landed that fish! Now available in size 8 - a perfect summer steelhead swinging pattern. Best fished on a sink tip or on a sinking poly leader. Measured from the eye to the bend of the hook, the size 4 is 1 3/4" long and the size 8 is 1 1/4" long
