The Rusty Bomber was developed by John Hazel on the Deschutes to capture the color of the Discosmoecous October Caddis. A classic Atlantic Salmon pattern, the bomber has morphed here in the Pacific Northwest to include a wider variety of color combinations. Designed to both skate effectively in glassy tailouts as well as to fish "damp" - just in the surface film on faster water.
