If you are planning a trip to our private lakes, be sure to stock up on these flies. From March until the end of November there are prolific midge hatches and the lakes boil with rolling fish. If fish aren't rolling take a chironomid pupa and put it 3 to 4 ft. under an indicator and take care of business.
