Golden PT Stone
The Golden Pheasant Tail Stone does a nice job of imitating the hesperoperla pacifica (golden stone) nymph that crawls the rocks of most western rivers and streams. The mottled character of this fly makes it extrememly buggy and attractive to trout. The two toned character of this tie along with a hidden bead in the thorax, makes it one of our favorite searching patterns.
